DESCRIPTION

TL;DR: How to not write a story
Never thought of even writing a review for a particular yuri manga, but this is a special case. This just drives me crazy. In a really fucking terrible way.
It's a constant loop of the same fucking drama in the line of yuri. To make it more clear: It takes three chapters for the two protagonists to be a couple, but it takes twenty, and I say, TWENTY, chapters for the agonizing pointless drama to end. Oh it has no payoff, THAT'S RIGHT! IT HAS NO PAYOFF. You've already seen it in 17 fucking chapters ago. Think of it as something you would argue with your life partner for a long time, then when both of you resolve it, you and them realized that there's no lesson to be learnt in that argument, and it was fucking pointless, and it's just both sides being absolutely fucking idiots that couldn't muster enough strength to resolve it your own and with the partner, and everything that had happened is just a waste of precious time for both sides. That's everything you needed to know, and everything else that you did not know shouldn't be a topic of your curiousity because it's irrelevant or never brought up again.

The story has no meaning, it's looped in a psychotic way - being written to be as simple as possible so much it makes all the points that had happened look stupid and rather annoying to read just because it takes the longest path to solve the problem, rather than actively looking for a better path. That is when you realize: reading about 200 chapters of One Piece in one go might just be a better way to obtain temporary dementia rather than this. Literal definition of Insanity. It's so boring to read and drama takes more page discussions than the yuri itself, and on that note as well - the couple is just really bland. Really fucking bland, like a typical heterosexual couple commonly seen in other type of manga. Being tied to the story's dirteating drama type makes them look even worse. I can't recommend anyone to reading this at all. Shuu Yasaka's artstyle might be good, but goddamn they did not how to write or intentionally write a functional core story point. Literally one thing good - ten more things bad.

If you still insist on reading this: You will understand why that quality is much a better choice than quantity nowadays - for yuri. Especially with the current rises of the genre itself that was once niche and boomers used to complain about how they only have two (2) or just few more, but never exceed 10 actual yuri manga in a span of a year back then.
I fear not the person who create thousand plot points in a yuri manga, but I fear those that wrote yuri manga with the same plot architecture 10000 times.

saving me with a wholesome yuri with compeling storyline

this is for the sweet, wholesome, tender yuri enjoyer. this story is for those who enjoy reading beautiful yuri ㅡ the storyline was so beautiful. everything happened so fast i blinked and it's suddenly an epilogue. such a perfect manga to enjoy to go through your day. everything feels so right and soft. i thought it was gonna be a heart-fluttering manga of strangers to lovers, meeting in campus, or i thought they were in a countryside, and their love blooms. but it was more than that. i didn't expected i would be this intrigued and i would love this so much. i love the art, first of all it's the pretty art i saw on social media. recommendation and it's this story. the art is pretty and somehow gives off healing vibes. it gives so much vibes of a breeze, the wind swiping your bangs when you stand on the ground. and i love it already, even before reading it. after reading it.. it feels like it exceed every of expectations i had towards this manga. the plot, the storyline, the characters and its characterization, the pace, the first meeting of theirs, their whole dating era, the ending. everything is so, so perfect.

the manga started with someone on the stage playing an act and someone at the audience crying. captivating. what a captivating way to start your book. way to steal my heart and it steals my heart completely. what happened after that and the pace they bring here, how their relationship grows and how they showed us how sweet and lovely their relationship are :( two persons who met and fell in love with each other and the love they shared bring sweet things to each other. because the love they shared for each other, can encouraged haruka to changed herself to not become too hard on herself, to love what she tried so hard to deny, and to let herself enjoy things she wants. it lets her to do the things that she wants without holding it back and it makes her happy. the love made her stand on her own and be sure of what she wants, makes her happy and sure that she's happy, the love makes her stronger, and her love for nao is so big and she lets herself love, she lets herself become the happiest person for having a lovely and wonderful girlfriend. i love so much love for the both of them :(

and nao's characterization.. i love how she never forces haruka to talk about her past. she knew it all along about her past yet she didn't confront, didn't demand to know those things. she just there, falling in love so deep with her hero, her girlfriend, giving haruka as much love as haruka deserves, and being the best girlfriend ever. while holding onto what made her working so hard to reach her dream and reaching it, even when she realized she can never make her dreams come true ㅡ but the ending, oh the ending was so beautiful i cried :") they gave us that ending and what more can i say.. i love this manga so much with all of my heart and i will keep this manga in a special place inside it. gonna lock it and keep it forever.

what makes this manga even more perfect, for me, is how they showed us many, many of their dating moments!!! practically living together after dating, them sleeping together, go on dates together, so many sweet and wholesome moments of them as girlfriends, their hugs and kisses and sweet moments on bed, i love it all. i love it so much when they let us see yuri being lovey dovey it warms and softens my heart whole. and appreciation goes to the author for drawing this manga beautifully (understatement) full color!!!! oh full color manga will have a special place inside my heart ;;;; all the colors... bright and soft and warm and pretty... and them, haruka and nao in comfortable clothes. this is one of my most favourite parts from the manga. the author drew them in comfortable clothes and i love it so much. i feel so comfortable and safe reading this one. nao's outfits, haruka's outfits, both with casual and comfortable clothes and look so lovely. my lovely, lovely beautiful girls. this is just so special to me.

this manga showed me so many beautiful things. love, dreams, a wil to forgive ourselves and to move forward, bright future, patience, security, comfort, respect, and every beautiful things. at the end, haruka claim that she does theater and it's just hobby and reading it heals my heart. though she doesn't do it for her career, she still does it for herself. a hobby. because that's what she loves and what she wants. so heavy to say goodbye to them. i want to read them forever. i will treasure this piece forever. thank you for existing, my beautiful babies !♡
