35/100nothing, the manhwa. Mediocre to a fault.Continue on AniListThe plot to this manhua isn't as overdone as most other wuxia/xianxia etc cultivation stories in the same vein but it has a plethora of issues that can really hinder your enjoyment from time to time.
The plot is non existent, literally, there is no goal other than the very vague "I want to keep a low profile" theme, but that in and of itself is not really a plot. It's just an idea, an idea that goes nowhere 100% of the time.
The main character is so inactive so much of the time, that you will genuinely find him detestable and unlikable especially when it comes to his interactions with side characters.
The side characters, for whatever reason, love him and suck up to him through misunderstandings that are portrayed as humorous but really just make you kind of frustrated when reading.
Not only that, but the MC is so inactive and there are so many time skips just for the sake of power wanking the MC that you have to wonder why you're even reading anymore. It's just a bunch of nothing, the MC is listless to the point of cowardice at times and it makes him severely unattractive as a person.
Then, to top it all off, the hype factor of having a wanked MC is just non existent as the entire premise is the MC wants to keep a low profile. There is no fun to be had in seeing the MC slay gods and immortals when it's skimmed over and ignored just to go back to mindlessly cultivating.
And I do mean mindlessly cultivating, the plot of keeping a low profile means the entire series takes place in setting so far, and the majority of time is spent with the MC sitting there. Doing nothing. Always.
Only then, will we receive a time skip, that is used primarily to wank the MC and have the author give some plot bs on the sidelines so that side characters can push the "plot" a long and send trouble the MCs way.
On the subject of side characters, the side character are ugly. Any side character (that's male) that spends any amount of time near the MC is made ugly and or incompetent or non human, for the sake of making the MC appear more attractive and special. The very definition of self insert Gary Stu writing.
The only exception to this rule is, you guessed it, the women, that jump his bones at every chance they get for no reason despite the MC treating them very passive aggressively or in some cases, straight up aggressively.
The art itself for this series, is just very bland, it's mediocre and the only time it's pretty to look at it is when it's focused on eye candy characters, and that alone is not reason enough to keep me entertained. It is very cheap and lazy, and though they make them look nice, they look no different than any other random manhwa or manhua you pick at random nowadays so it has no charm or personality, it is not stand out at all.
I've said about all I can say about this manhua for now, I can safely say that you are better off reading something else entirely than wasting your time on this series. Even if you are down and in desperate need of a filler manhua after reading all the good stuff, you're better off just branching out into manga or manhwa to fill that void.
Only when you read all of the good manhwa and manga, I still would not recommend this series.
You deserve better than this.

100/100Peak Story & Comedy, A Realistic story about cultivation. Han jue is a very real MC. The Peak of Cultivation ManhwasContinue on AniListTop tier providence is a masterpiece in terms of storytelling, worldbuilding, and cultivation.
Han jue has a system that differentiates him from other cultivators. We've seen this 300 million times before, except this time han jue plays it smart and rerolls his aptitude for a majority of his early life until he lands on an aptitude that he is satisfied with/very rare. He rerolls only once a day, that's why it took him like 12 years if i recall correctly. Now, you might say that that's BS however it only shows that our MC, han jue is a competent MC as he maximizes his advantages to the fullest. He is also very cautious, as we'll see later on. In the starting line, he did his best to choose his own fate [aka being stubborn and rerolling until he got something that looked really good]. It is part of the system that gave him this opportunity, but it is also his nature that had him become enlightened and struggle a decade or so for a better future. It is what happens when luck meets opportunity & preparation.
The worldbuilding is nice, while the MC is OP he's simply a frog in the well for a LOT of the story. There is a bigger mountain on top of the mountain. He's talented yes, but there are also a lot of other talented people in the story. He is simply one of the most talented ones that have ever appeared in that realm, but even with that godlike talent he survives not because of the talent alone, but because of his nature to lay as low as possible and avoid direct confrontations when possible. Is it a cowardly way of living? It doesn't matter to our protagonist, as to him the winner is the one that lives in the end. It is a very realistic way of viewing things in a world where it's kill or be killed, and I have had trouble with mc's from other manga just being very arrogant and not getting their teeth kicked out. In here, it's actually apparent that if the MC was boastful and arrogant from the start, he would be attracting a lot of attention and be cut off while young by powerful forces beyond his cognition. It is like he's a real human that was put into that cultivation world, and not an NPC. His cautious nature leads him to be able to cultivate and become stronger in due time, enough to protect the ones important to him. It is like a saying in japanese, "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down". So in this story, his main focus is in laying low, because he is VERY cautious.
To quote one of the lines in this manhwa "You kill young one, old one comes. You kill the old one, an even more ancient, older one comes." That's why he is very cautious about making enemies with people unless it can't be helped.
One of the problems with this manhwa is that the amount of stories that you are keeping up with, while han jue is the main focus, he also teaches his disciples. So the story switches back and forth between han jue and the disciples.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN that it's a bad manhwa, all of his disciples are experiencing the cultivation world that they so long for. Han jue does not like a life of adventure as he knows that there are dangerous enemies out there, and it's more important to be diligent in cultivation. The story shows us his disciples' adventures, what they get or how they suffer and their return to the sect.
While it's also a good part of the story, I feel that some part after chapter 100 drags on for too long, but after a while it gets good again. So, do have patience when reading it, as it's worth it in the end. Also, did I mention the comedy in this manhwa is top notch? Only in this manhwa did I read for a LOT of comedy and I also laughed along with the manhwa. It is very humorous, and one of the only manhwas that work as a comedy. Not to mention that han jue is also a very serious & realistic main character, it is no overstatement that this is the best, if not one of the best cultivation manhwa's out there. And that's saying a lot as i've read a ton of cultivation & martial arts manhwas.
In this story, it pleases us, the reader, and also drags us along with han jue's journey to divinity. Han jue is a very realistic character and what he does may not always be what we, the reader, would do. But it gives him personality, as we and han jue are separate entities, and it's nigh impossible for someone to self insert as han jue, as han jue is his own person. In that I actually like this manhwa.
Anyway that's all
Recommended for: Cultivation fans, martial arts fans, comedy fans
Not recommended for: Low attention span / no cultivation media experience
[If you haven't read cultivation manhwas before, it's harder to appreciate this as a piece since you won't know how great the heaven is unless you've touched the grounds before]
